Airport Meet & Greet is a new(er) concept in India. You are greeted upon arrival at the airport at the curbside/cab drop-off point and assisted all the way till boarding aircraft.
Basics of Airport Meet and Greet
We get a hassle-free experience for navigating through the airport with Meet and Greet. This service can be especially helpful for traveling with senior citizens, infants, or someone who may be a first-time abroad traveler. The biggest plus is we can save a lot of time, especially during peak hours. I have heard people for whom it took just a few minutes from airport entry to departure gate!
We get the following service with airport meet and greet:
- Porter
- Dedicated executive for assistance at the airport
- Buggy/Golf cart (depends on airport; available at Delhi T3 and Mumbai T2)
- Priority Check-in (baggage drop-in and boarding pass issuance)
- Business Class/Crew Security

We may get immigration at First/Business class lines, but those are provided on best effort basis. Most of the service is at the discretion of the airline and can’t be guaranteed.
This is such a useful service particularly for international arrivals and departures where green channel scanning and immigration process is taken care off. Over and above any discounts offered by the store, Pranaam, the service provider in Mumbai, also offers an additional 10% discount on duty-free purchases.
My Experience with Departure and Arrival Meet and Greet
Departure
I had specified a 4 AM arrival time at the airport, and I was called at 2:30 AM to confirm my arrival time. I was instructed to call once I had passed a specific landmark so the executive could be waiting at the taxi drop-off location. We were running behind schedule that day, and I can tell we would have missed the flight if it weren’t for the Meet & Greet service. When there was an issue at check-in, we were offered priority service and even helped with boarding pass printing at the fast forward counter.
Arrival
They keep track of the flight, and shortly after landing, we received a call. At the arrival gate aerobridge, we were met by two executives with a porter, with our name board. We are free to do as we please, and they can take care of the rest. Maybe we can use the restroom, go shopping at duty-free stores, or just relax. They take the tags stuck on the back of boarding pass and get our baggage from the luggage belt. The executive called the cab driver and send us off after loading our luggage.

Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai*, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Cochin, Lucknow, Nagpur, Mangalore and Kannur.
* though Chennai isn’t listed in site, we can still book by calling Axis Concierge.
How to book airport concierge service
Visit Extraordinary Weekends and log in after entering the card details. We need to click Airport Concierge Service and fill in the details. After that, to confirm our request, we must pay a token amount of Re 1.

Based on the timing of our flights, we only receive the confirmation a day before departure. A few hours before the flight, the service provider would call us.
Tips, Tricks and pointers
1. We must make a reservation at least two days in advance, but it is advised that we make our reservations much earlier as they may be rejected if their services are fully booked on the day we want to use them.
2. While we receive inquiry mail right after booking, we never receive confirmation mail well in advance for our travel dates. To confirm this, we might need to contact Axis Concierge or the Meet and Greet service.
3. In case we don’t confirmation from Axis Bank Concierge for the service you may call the operator directly (contact details can be found on their respective sites).

4. In case after entering all details and the Re 1 authentication doesn’t go through, this would usually mean that the size of the attachment is on the higher side. You may want to upload only the screenshot after resizing it.
5. We can use the service for transit too. We can either contact Axis Concierge (axisbankconcierge[AT]aspirelifestyles.com or call by calling 1800 103 4962) or just request a departure and then explain to the service provider that we would require a transit meet and greet.
6. Keep in mind that for each passenger, we are deducted one count from our free visits. A total of three additional passengers can be booked per request.
Bottom line
Meet and Greet service has saved me ton of time and even helped me catch a flight when we were running late. We are fast-tracked our way till boarding or from the time we deboard the the aircraft.
